I’m 40 this year and for my birthday my husband and I are thinking about going to Pratoni for WEG. I’ve reached out to the email addresses they provide for accommodation help as well as ticketing help and I haven’t gotten any response. Has anyone else had any luck? Is anyone else thinking of going?
The only thing I have seen is what was sent out via USEF earlier this year which spelled out accommodations and other basic arrangements being made for US athletes. I am going, as part of the FEI Stewarding team.
I looked at this and thought it would be fun to go to Rome, we love Italy, and then take public transportation to Patroni. That doesn’t seem to be a good option. The closest train station is several miles away from the venue. I assume they would be running shuttle buses from the train stations. Otherwise it is a 45 car ride.
I think we’ll save our trip for Badminton.
