COTH said she withdrew since she was so far down in the placings, 19th. I wonder if she is sorry now, McLain was 7 spots lower than her and his 2 clear rounds just barely kept him out, she might easily have made it to the final four, and now will always wonder. Malin Bayard-Johnson withdrew for the same reason and she was also ahead of McLain.
Her 10.04 faults plus two clears would have left her out of the final four just like it left McLain out. Malin Baryard (8.91) would also have been on the outside looking in with two clears. As it was, she added 16 in the first individual round then withdrew. In fact, as it played out, you needed no more than 7.07 faults to get into the final.
