WEG Reining Individual Starting now

pattern 10, 21 riders representing 11 countries. It will take a cum score in the high 220’s to get a prize (so avg of 75 or better )

after 5 horses, Doug Allen (GB) is leading with a 218 (avg 72.6) but most of the strong riders are in the second half

Only 3 women made it to individuals

Is there somewhere to watch this online?

on usefnetwork

best riders still to come
about half way done, Canadian gal leading with 218.5 top 4 at 218.
top qualifiers comming up in second half starting with Tim McQuay

Holy Einstein’s Revolution, that was amazing. I’m surprised that didn’t give him the lead (to my novice eye having only ridden a reining horse once!). His inside hind feet hardly moved in those spins.

I agree with you Ziggy, thought the score would be a tad better. Tim’s run was very pretty and smooth, just thought Einstein hada good trip.
Oh well more heavy weights comming up

You are all horrible people! I was happily working when I opened this thread during a break and found out the reining was offered on live free coverage! I will not be productive the rest of the day. Shame on you all!!!

Can’t wait for the freestyle tonight!!!

AKKKKKK the drama !! Poor Shawn, but what a great ride… basically did most his trip with a broken stirrup leather, weel it broke while he was on course and he grabbed part of the saddle to rebalance. so either loses 5 points from every judge or maybe eliminated…

BUT gold to Tom McCutcheon, silver to Craig Smersal and bronze to Duane Latimer of Canada

Soo happy Canada goes third, although Im sad for Shawn. He had a great ride and was looking forward to his score!

Ha, me too, I haven’t gotten much work done so far today. Luckily it is pretty quiet around here, which is a rarity!
