So I posted to ask for conformation critique on my long yearling and a lot of people pointed out his low fetlocks and other people said his fetlocks didn’t worry them too much. I am wondering if my guy is too “fat” for being a fast growing baby? He’s 16.1 and I’m wondering if him having lower fetlocks is also something that could be a growing phase? Or once fetlocks are lower then that’s it? It’s full siblings that are 1 and 2 years older don’t have them but idk what they looked like at his age. Just curious on others thoughts.
They are enough out of the norm that I would seek a specialist’s opinion. DSLD is often not well recognized by general practitioners/local vets.
