Question for Back on Track users. I’ve had two shirts and short socks in the past, and loved them and had no issues. But two items I’ve ordered over the last few years had a strong smell and caused me to get a super dry, itchy throat upon opening and handling, and some bumpy rash on my face. I always wash before wearing but this has just been from handling.
One of the items is a dog coat, that I really want to use for my injured pup. But concerned that if there’s some treatment/chemical finish on it, it’ll do more harm than good to a tiny dog.
This is a long shot but just wondering if anyone has had a similar reaction, and if it got better after multiple washes. For reference, the cotton/poly shirts and regular socks never bothered me, but the quilted dog coat and tall boot socks did. I assume it’s a finish used on some fabrics.
