Have a friend considering WEF for 8-9 weeks this winter, and is looking for an estimate of costs. Would be in stalls hacking-distance away from the show, bringing own groom. Ballpark, what are shavings/hay/feed running these days?

We are purchasing from Gold Coast- our shavings are between $5-$6 a bag, and our hay (T/A first cut 2 string) is about $16 per bale. Obviously each store has a variety of types of hay and shavings and some stores charge more than others.
Wellington Hay and Grain may have a minimum $$ order but I found was the least expensive for shavings. Cindy at 561-634-5252.
I reserved from Aden Brook and 1st cut timothy/grass was $16/bale.
Aden Brook really impressed me with their service. Their delivery guys put down a tarp before they unloaded the hay, so there was no mess to clean up. Loved them for that! :lol:

Thanks all! Very helpful.
I use them up north, so I am willing to spend more to feed the same product down there vs having to switch to coastal, more western grasses, etc. They’ve always been worth the extra to me.
