I went with the Wentworth hunt in New Hampshire, who added a Spring cubbing season this year. It was so much fun, I don’t know why I don’t go more often when I’m invited. My horse had a blast too. As soon as she saw the hounds, her head went up and her ears pricked forward. She knew exactly what was coming. I wish I could become a member but, between my work schedule and not owning a trailer, I’m not sure how often I would be able to go, realistically. Anyway, anyone in Southern NH area who is looking for a friendly hunt, check out Wentworth!
oh, you are soooo lucky!
I’ve never heard of spring cubbing. Seems a bit rude to disrupt the foxes during when they have just had their young? Or is this a “drag” cubbing?
Genuinely curious.

It’s a drag hunt.
But obviously not a drag!
I am glad you get to go hunting at least sometimes. Thanks for telling us about it – I used to want to hunt (still would love to in my dreams!)
I’m glad you had such a good time, Wentworth sounds like a fun group of people to hunt with.
Cranky- you need to buy a horse trailer and quit work, problem solved!!! Congrats on having a nice day out!
No need for a trailer, just to quit work, Cranky! I’ll bring you anytime!
So glad you had a fun time! It is addictive. Re: cost, remember, you only need one kidney  #blackmarket
