Western Bridle Repair

I have a 30+ year old western show bridle (think super silvered out and HEAVY!) We were going to tack up at a horse show and the leather broke on the cheekpiece. Thankfully we had a backup bridle but now I really need to get this one fixed. Anyone have any ideas?

Any saddle makers in the area? We have local tack repair places/saddle makers, if you can find something like that. Sorry I’m not much help, but I live in Phx, so trying to find a place to do something is pretty easy!

Unfortantely I don’t know of anyone in Middle Tn that does repair :frowning: It’s mymother’s and it’s very very detailed (and very special to her!) Guess I’ll google! Thanks anyway!

Maybe ship it somewhere for repair, then?

You may have to ship it, but a saddle maker can take the silver off and put it onto a whole new bridle.

I got some good suggestions via PM so I’m going to go the shipping it out route. Thanks!
