Western Chat Forums?

Are there any out there? Since I am now involved in Western horsemanship I find that I would prefer a chat forum similar to COTH but geared towards the western disciplines. Thanks in advance.

Yes, but most of the people on the chronicle forums are English

Ah you want another chat group altogether! Why not post your question on our Western forum? You could also try searching things like Reddit and Discord to see if thereā€™s anything. Also FB groups for your discipline.

I get Maudeā€™s question. COTH has lots of very knowledgeable horse people and some of them happen do western. Maude is asking if anyone knows of a western forum equal to COTH, but where there are lots of very knowledgeable horse people who do western things.

Maude, I think the problem you are going to find here is, most us do not know of one.

Oh yup. Silly me. The new forum design shows me every new post and I lose track of what forum Iā€™m in. Disregard my posts.

Did you try searching google? I have no idea what they might be like but here is one that has western.

I think asking here was an attempt to avoid having to guess if another forum was as good of a resource as COTH is.
Sure one can google search horse forums and find all kinds of things but not all forums are created equal.

Not that Iā€™m a facebook fan, but there are some groups you might enjoy. Log in to facebook and search for California Bridle Horses, Working Equitation or Western Dressage, for example. Then also click ā€œgroups.ā€ You can browse through them and see if youā€™d like to join. Those searches will also lead you to other like-minded groups.

Sent you a PM @Maude

Even getting someones opinion on here wouldnā€™t mean much, really. All the OP can do is search and then read on some forums to see if they like it or not.

Here are some I just found by Googling. I know nothing about them, but they might be a good place for you to start.

This one isnā€™t a forum but it might lead you to some forums or FB groups:https://www.facebook.com/WesternHorseman

Good luck!
