Could anyone point me in the right direction? We are looking for a fun, solid introduction to western riding and showing - near Atlanta. Thank you!
Check with Rolling Hills Saddle Club and Newton County Saddle Club. They might be able to help you.
Morgan, Where are you located and what type of western riding do you want to do? My trainer is doing monthly clinics on Stock Horsemanship and cow work. Also, we show with the American Stock Horse Asso. and host several shows each year! Let me know and I can give you more info!
Do you do any intro work with cows? Like for instance if you might have a horse you were thinking about doing some very basic level reined cowhorse classes with, but before you bothered seeing if he had a stop, you wanted to see if he had enough cow sense to make it worth your while?

She does! There are all levels at the clinics. The one in March has more intro type riders. There are a few spots left if you are interested! Let me know and I can PM you!
You also might be interested in the American Stock Horse Shows since Reined Cowhorse has dried up in GA.
