I’m clueless when it comes to western so I’m hoping someone here can help. I recently bought an older western saddle with “Bob’s Custom Saddle” stamped on the fender and a tex tan seal stamped on the seat. There is also the numbers 1089 1055-32645
When looking up the number’s stamped on the saddle, I have not been able to identify which saddle this is and the type.
I have photos but cannot post them here for some reason.
Any help is appreciated.
Bob’s Custom saddles is one brand.
Tex Tan is an old brand.
Surprised they are both on the same saddle?
Maybe someone had an old Tex Tan saddle and replaced the fenders with some from a Bob’s saddle?
Agree with Bluey, sounds like someone replaced the fenders with one from Bob’s Custom Saddle. Do the fenders and the rest of the saddle match? Bob’s puts the serial numbers on the fenders, Tex Tan puts on the stirrup leather.
