I have a wonderful quarter horse and would really like to try a breed show this year. I have a health issue that may keep me out of the saddle for a couple of months. It seems like a great opportunity to try out showmanship and halter classes. My trainer is amazing but doesn’t have experience with this stuff, as we are a h/j barn…
Horse is about as nice as they come. I’ve ridden him for 2 years and done a ton of groundwork/tricks. He’s very curious and loves to please.
ideally we would love a trainer to come to our farm for some losses, but we could truck in if needed. The only thing I’m not interested in is moving the horse to another barn. We love where we are; just need experts that aren’t available here.
Let me know if you can think of anyone. Pretty much an hour outside Boston in any direction would work.
I don’t know the geography, so please excuse if this is out of range.
I know these folks by way of an exceptional clinician friend who visits there often. I also have experience with a young lady who grew up riding there and she is first rate.
