Anyone use it? A friend of ours recommended it, sounds super since we have lots of fence that needs green mold scrubbed off every other year or so.
I haven’t, but I’m following this with interest. Same issues!
Sending this to a friend ~ thanks for the tip !
Worth looking into …,
For small jobs, not much PVC fencing or if you don’t own a pressure washer, it might be worth it. On their website it says the results last about 12 months. But they say that if you live in places like Illinois, it can last up to 2 yrs. Might be a good idea for someone who doesn’t have miles of fencing or who doesn’t own a pressure washer. For me doesn’t sound much different that pressure washing. We have over 1500’ of PVC fencing. Four seasons, but frequent rain to various levels some years more than others. We don’t need to pressure wash every year, but usually every other year.
One gallon costs around $34 and covers 750-2250 square feet, depending upon surface porosity. (roughly 27.5’ x 27.5’, up to x 47.5’ x 47.5’).

Hi Dana, we don’t ever recommend using bleach as it can damage surfaces. Wet & Forget will remove the mildew stains from your surface and because it will properly clean the surface, it will stay clean much longer. We usually see surfaces remaining clean for at least 12 months. In areas of the country like Illinois, we’ve seen surfaces stay clean for two years.”
You will want to read the MSDS before you apply this product to your fencing.

We put strong bleach water in pump sprayer and spray the mildew/mold on the white plastic fences and it makes it go away
We recommend 10% bleach solution for the Centaur/CenFlex products. Make sure to use a brand name quality bleach.
