Why is this new one cheaper then the used ones??
I honestly don’t know. That is a great deal! I have that saddle and love it. Could be last saddle at the retailer. Maybe model will be discontinued with the Carl Hester version? Grab it!!

I had one that was $2099 from the Dover used/blemished closeout page on trial. I sent it back. The blocks did not work for me, seemed poorly made (the billets were already close to splitting despite being almost new), came with no instructions or information regarding the changeable gullet. It looked like a fixed gullet and no one at Dover was of any help. I cannot see these saddles in 3-5 years coming close to holding their value compared to even a Custom Saddlery Signature Series.

Apparently it is prone to seperation.
I saw a Bates Innova on ebay and ended up getting it for $550 with shipping. It said it was used. It sure didn’t look like it. The new ones are $2,000. I think some people just end up getting stuff they don’t want or doesn’t work for them and sell it. For that price, it was worth the risk and I could resell it. I like it and use it daily.
