I’ve only had a pair ofJustin’s, they lasted a long time in box and a fair amount of time when I was riding once every 2 weeks. However once I got horses and was seeing them everyday, they lasted 3 months. I like the looks of Ariat but I never owned a pair. If your riding in them, make sure they are slip on (not tie on) and have a 1 inch heel.
I am limited to those available in men’s size 6-6 1/2 EE thanks to my duck feet, so I’ll likely never own any boots that would be my “favorite,” just boots that I like and that fit.
I would love some fancy girly boots, but they are not in my future. I have the same problem with running shoes. I want some pink shoes. The don’t seem to exist in my size and foot shape.
I ride in Dan Post and Boulet. I’ve had other brands, but those fit my feet the best. I prefer the Boulet’s for the leather sole, but they’re not practical for a lot of the year around here due to the wet weather.

Ariat - I’ve had Justins before and they were super slippery and very uncomfortable.
I have around 10 pair of Ariats (english and western) and love all of them. The one pair I usually ride in are about 12 years old and going strong.
I wear Lucchese boots almost exclusively because they fit me best and last forever. I also have had good luck with Anderson Bean boots. I have a really high instep, and can’t even get other brands on. I usually have my boots stretched by a local cobbler, btw, before I can even get the Lucchese boots on, but their leather is such good quality they can take it.
I’d love a pair of Rios of Mercedes or Anderson Bean boots, but unfortunately, I can’t justify that price. I’ve owned Ariats and Tony Lamas, I prefer Ariat of the two.
Oh those are nice!!!
Ariat waterproof work boots! Mine have taken some constant abuse and held up nicely.
These Dan Posts are my current favorite. I have a really hard time finding boots that will fit me. My instep/arch is so high that I can’t get my feet into most boots.
Love Corral boots! I have these and they are the most comfortable I’ve found! Also as a side note, it’s best to buy boots in person as they vary widely in fit, and always get them steamed! Ensures a perfect fit fit out of the box!
I tried on several pairs of Corrals and these felt my my old sneakers! Loved them!
Anderson Bean boots, hands down. I don’t wear anything else.
