This is my 4 year old from Germany I got back in August. He’s by Clintissimo (Clinton I).
People are always asking me what color he is.
Passport says “grey”.
Wondering how he will age/lighten as well. If he will roan out or dapple.
Anyone have any experience with this coloring? I’m curious as are most people who see him.

IMO the passport is correct. He’s just gray, not roan or anything more exotic. He’ll lighten over time for sure. But he’s gorgeous!
He’s dreamy! I agree with the passport, gray. He will lighten over time but I love this stage of a gray!
Congrats! He is a a very handsome guy! He is grey. He will get lighter and lighter each year. Eventually, you wont see his socks. Grey horses lighten at different speeds. He is a lot darker than a friend’s grey three year old, he is almost all white already.
Enjoy having a horse that will change color for years.
