What do y'all think of this CANTER IL boy?

Looks like he might be slightly off in his LF in the first video, and maybe elsewhere, but he certainly looks and sounds like a good guy. Also, saddle fit nightmare perhaps?

Interested in the TB experts’ collective thoughts… Thanks!

ETA: I do lower level eventing.

Definitely off behind, but that was last summer so perhaps whatever was bothering him has resolved by this time.

big, sweet, great personality, vet him extensively. Don’t love his back legs but I do love his mind so…I might look (my horses with the most perfect legs have been the least fun to ride, and vice versa – brains are so important!).

Looks sweet and extremely uncomfortable to me…

Jaybird Miracle up for adoption again

This guy is back up for adoption. Oh how I wish I had my own place. I’d buy him and just turn him out for several months to put on weight and unwind. I sure hope he finds a soft place to land. Sounds like he definitely deserves it.

I feel sorry for these guys…looks like he got hurt around 2011, dramatic drop in starts but they kept trying to run him for a few years.

He needs a soft place to land but not another job. Wonky behind. Needs a lot of vet work to be just more comfortable.

You’d think that when they run them until they are 11 and win 180,000k they’d earn a retirement out of that. It’s a darn shame that this poor fellow is being asked to do more than stuff his face full of grass for the rest of his life. He looks like a darling. Hopefully he is sounder now, the videos are old.

I don’t think this one needs to do much unwinding, he looks pretty relaxed already!

I meant unwind physically.

Check out his newer videos. They were taken in Feb of this year and he looks really uncomfortable behind. Ugh, I wish I could take him on, but I’m just not set up for it. Poor fella. He looks so darn sweet.

Just saw a post on the CANTER IL page that he is sold!

Woo hoo! I hope he enjoys a cushy retirement.
