I have a friend that is contemplating having a saddle made by JR Wenger. Has anyone had this done? If so how do they hold up long term and what do you think about the quality?
They are great saddles and the Wenger company is fantastic to work with! My favorite work headstall was a gift from JR.
I don’t know anyone disappointed with a Wenger saddle.
that is good to hear. I always worry about ordering something from a company that I don’t know much about. It is good to get everyone’s feedback
He does beautiful work, they hold their value and are on-par (if not sometimes better) than Blue Ribbons and Harris.
I’m glad that they hold their value. I’m going to sit in hers once it gets here and if I like it will probably have him make me one. I have had a hard time finding a western saddle I am comfortable crossing over from the hunter/jumper world.
