What do you think about the Logan BP three horse slant load Cross Fire Trailer?

I have to be buy a used trailer and this is the one that fits my budget. I am just using it for occasional trail rides so won’t be hauling long distances. There are things I like such as torsion axels, see through top of dividers, padded, drop down windows and two doors opening in back with a step down. I wanted to avoid a solid divider where the horses feel trapped and can’t see each other. I do not like lifting a ramp up and down - my horses have no trouble stepping in and out. It is a big up grade from my stock trailer with springs that leave the poor guys rattled to death.

Does anyone have anything to say about these trailers - something I should be aware of before I buy one or to be careful about afterwards? I live in a remote area and do not have many choices. I have been looking for months. Thanks.

I’m just now selling my nearly 20 year old Logan Coach, so if they still make them like they used to, I’m a fan. (I see they’ve switched over to aluminum – mine is steel.)

Just make sure your horses actually fit in it. My 2-horse slant was fine for my 15hh Appy but not so much for my big Irish Draught cross. I’ve had the divider out and it’s been a one-horse trailer for years now.

Thank you Wendy. I am glad to hear you liked yours. One of my horses is 15 hands and will do fine in the front. The other one is 16 hands and if necessary, I can take out the last divider so she has the last two stalls.

I have a 24yo Logan Competitor 3 horse slant and I LOVE it! I’ll be shopping for a new version sometime, but mine is still going strong. I’m a loyal Logan fan.

We have a three horse bp slant Logan and love it.

Years ago we went to Equine Affair and compared all the trailers and this one came out on top. We custom ordered it with everything we wanted.

Thanks for your replies. I bought it.
