What does "CR" mean in results

Hi Friends, I’m looking at horse results and I see “CR” listed under Show Jump Time and Final Results. There is a number under Show Jump Jump faults but CR under time.
Can someone help decode that?
Thank you!

Compulsory Retirement= more than 16 jump penalties in sj.

Actually, CR is 20 or more jumping penalties in show jumping.
EV127.8
ETA that CR only applies at Training and above.

If it’s on event entries you can click the little blue icon and it will outline all the faults from the round.

Does it not apply at 5*? I know we’ve seen horses with CRs in FEI events this spring. There was a combination at Kentucky with five rails in the show jumping that finished on a number, which left me confused about the implementation of this.

It only applies to shorts, not longs. Since the jumping is after XC in the longs.

FEI logic…

…well, then. At least that clears up the mystery…

At USEF horse trials it applies even if sj is last.

Because why have one rule when you can have three :joy:

This is true. You can still get a CR if you jump SJ last.
