Yeah, we’ll see! I honestly hope that he’ll either go to a great new home really quick (a fantasy, I know) or that I’ll end up stuck with him for so long that we’ll have some breakthrough moments and I’ll end up loving him, and keeping him, in the end. I guess time will tell!
I showed him this week to someone who really liked him but COULD.NOT.RIDE. I was really traumatized at how blatantly false her self-representation had been, and sorry for wasting her time and mine. He was SUCH a good boy for her (and for me!) that day, though. He even slammed on the brakes and waited while she heaved herself back into the saddle after losing her stirrups and slipping off the side at a jog.
