Merry, I had a Schnauzer when I was MUCH younger (12 to be exact). It was the “more common” color.

Since I raise Arabs and do the hunter/dressage/sporthorse divisions on the Arab circuit with them, it seemed appropriate here on the COTH board.

(I was a TB racehorse and h/j groom in a former lifetime).

And yes, my Arabs actually foxhunt on occasion.

It’s a combination of d, my first initial, plus most of my last name. Plus I love Ireland!

Albion is one of the Celtic words for England … at some point during high school, it got attached to me as a nickname. I’m still not quite sure how, but I almost got it tattooed under my Uffington chalk horse-inspired tattoo. I went with some Latin, instead. [yes, I am a big classics geek!]

I was originally Mandy on the other board after my recently departed–he was still with me at the time.

When I came here, I couldn’t use his name, so I used Jaime Lynn (my daughter), and then after telling a story about embarassing horse show moments, I was renamed by other BB’ers as such.

without thinking twice, gets me in lots of trouble sometimes.

It means that I never post anonymously.

Although I did recently change it from “Nancey Phillips Fisher” to “NP Fisher” I thought the old-timers would probably be able to figure out that it was the same person.

I didn’t realize that I could use a different name when I signed up. Why I used all my initials is a mystery to me, though. I haven’t changed it because I know lots of people on the board and it seemed silly after the fact.

Blinky is the nickname my husband has for me. He hardly ever calls me by my given name so if you hear someone being called that at a show, please say hi!

Because I ride in the Adult Amateur Hunter division. Pretty simple.

and in case you haven’t guessed, it is the result of my research on all you guys.

My own screen name is the nickname my mom called me when I was little. It is the Russian pronounciation of my real name. (Which, coincidentally, is the shortening of a much longer Russian name–Anastasia.)
