I own a Fat Appy.
She turns 21 tomorrow and I go her when she was 5. She’s been fat everyday in between.

My gorgeous shaded silver persian cat, Oliver.
I’m George Morris. Duh
A boy my mother used to babysit in the early 70’s couldn’t pronounce “Gretchen,” so we let him call me “Gidget.” Now whenever Gretchen’s already taken, I resort to that goofy nickname. No one else in their right mind would want to be called Gidget, so I’m usually good to go.
Amarach is Irish Gaelic for tomorrow.
No matter how bad today is, you always have tomorrow. But live for today because tomorrow may never come. It seems contradictory but that’s how I see life.
It was the name of my farm, and also a tribute to my dad. Moon River was “our” song when I was a wee little girl.
It means ‘beaver meadow.’ But it’s also, boringly, just my name.
It means I’d had a song stuck in my head for DAYS and my first half dozen choices were taken…
It means The Wise One (HA!) in Greek and it’s also my middle name…wishful thinking on my parents’ part…
My heart horse is an overo paint horse and my hunter… Now my new horse is technically a breeding stock, but I’m pretty sure she has the overo gene (3/4 TB and 1/4 paint with chrome, just not enough for regular papers) and my trainer thinks she’s going to be the one that finally takes me to the adults
Quanah Parker
My mom had an App named “Screw Top Quanah”. We just called him Jake.
King Creole is my current horse’s show name. I’m very original like many other people here
My initials are MK and I’m an eventer.
Being of a vintage age, I needed something I could remember when I signed up on COTH.
After being around horses most of my life, I stopped riding for about 7-8 years. When I was considering getting back in the saddle again, I came on this forum to get info on trainers in the area and figured comingback was a good description of my situation at the time.
While I like sitting on boats, I don’t know much about them and I’ve never been on a sailboat… One of my favorite songs is titled “Sailboats” and a lyric was too long for a username.
Donkerbruin…my horse is a Dutch Warmblood and “Donkerbruin” is the color his passport says he is. Means dark brown.
My first mare’s sire was Inyureye. Great online name, and I used it here for some time until the COTH gods changed software and glitched up my username and it wouldn’t work. Opened up Ambitious Kate, which was her dam. Between those usernames, I was Another Round, which I thought was about either being a show jumper kid saying “ho, hum, just another round…” or else being a Lush pouring Another Round for me and my horse friends. Stuck with Ambitious Kate, pretty much.
It is the registered name of the horse who had the most profound effect on my life.
Dancer _ on _ ice. I ballroom dance, and I figure skate (including ice dance.)
Mine’s a short version of my gelding’s registered name, “Drew A Winning Straw”. Yup, original and well thought out.
It’s just my humble opinion.
