I just went on Etsy to buy some more and I can’t find it!!! Help please, I love this cleaner.
Riding warehouse and Jeffers sell
it. Bensmom might just not be selling direct anymore?
Thank you! I can do Riding Warehouse!
I have it saved as a favorite and just bought some soap from them the other week.

Does that work for you? If that’s not your flavor, it looks like linking back to the main shop works, at least for me.
Thanks Jen, I will save that link. Don’t know why the search function failed me. Riding Warehouse has the cleaners, but they do not carry the conditioner.
Is the vanilla too overpowering/sweet smelling? I remember there being more than the 3 scents I’m seeing, but I have wanted to try this stuff for a while.
Dutchmare no, the vanilla is not overpowering. I find the smell fades after a bit. I’m almost to the bottom of my jar and don’t get nearly as much of a whiff as when it was new. However, it still smells way better than most others and is amazing. I can’t wait to get more! If I didn’t have a nearly new jar of Passier conditioner I would get some of that too.
If you ever have problems ordering or finding HSLC just message Bensmom (Libby) She is super easy to get hold of and is awesome in general :). There was a snag on her website the other day but it got worked out.
None of the scents are overpowering to me and they all smell luscious. Beyond that it is the best leather care out there. Period. (IMO)
Glad to hear that everything is fine. I was one of many of the original testers and I can vouch for the product. Had a moment of panic that I wouldn’t be able to get more, but fine now.
IMO, it’s more lavender-y than vanilla-y, and the smell is subtle. It won’t leave your tack smelly
http://www.higherstandardsleathercare.com/index.html This works for me. I use the vanilla-lavender, and love it! It’s very pleasant and isn’t too strong or sweet.
I’m still holding out hope for a lemonberry scent…
Anyone make the same mistake I did and have a solution? I accidentally left it tilted in a car on a hot day, and the soap melted into the sponge and stuck it to the surface. So I can’t lift the sponge out to use it, and I can’t access the soap underneath. I’m tempted to stick it in the microwave but that seems risky. Solutions??
Oooh, Marigold. I have had a few people say that they microwaved it lightly – just enough to get the sponge to release. The soap will be fine to use, but your sponge may be too saturated to save. My DH says to be really careful and not to microwave the jar too long, because it will warp. So, I’d do short, like REALLY short, 10 second or so bursts, just until the sponge lets go.
And thank you guys for all the nice compliments!! We have really enjoyed being a small business and serving the equestrian community and being able to do a little giving back!
Top Rail Tack will have our products at Rolex too, if you are going to be there! And we are always available at our website!
Arabiansrock – I think the search problem on Etsy is that the shop is called Higher Standards Farm and when you search HSLC, it doesn’t come up. I found that myself the other day, when I was trying to share the Etsy shop. I will look into making that easier to search!
Libby (and as always, thanks to acottongim, who remains one of our biggest boosters!
)
Thank you so much! I’ll give that a shot. I figured if I could get the sponge out, I’d just try using the saturated sponge without adding any more soap for a while. Sort of like a pre-soaped sponge haha. And then in future I’ll store it upright and not in my black car in the summer time!
Love the product and am absolutely a return customer
I was an original tester and STILL a faithful user. The stuff is amazing!
