If anyone is still looking for muzzle solutions, I’ve had good luck with electrical tape. I just bought a 1" strip of neoprene weatherproofing I’m planning to tape on the noseband and crown. I also bought a brand new reflective halter (with emergency breakaway of course!) in case it gets lost.
I got the halter from here. They have a Facebook group where they auction off what I think are cancelled custom orders. I got mine for less than half price.
