What is a "hunter grand prix"?

hello, i am most likely going to the split rock ky horse show in june because its the week before junior hunter finals, and i was checking on the prize list and saw “$25,000 Hunter Grand Prix Presented by Hagyard Medical Institute”. ive never heard of something like this before, only national, international, and hunt and go derbies. i found a livestream of 2022’s hunter grand prix at this exact show, but i’m still not sure what it is and if its worth doing or not. if anyone knows what it is, please let me know!

Here are specs page 38 of the prize list. It runs like a derby/classic: https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/ecuestredigital/o/convocatoria%2F480?alt=media&token=81278013-b356-4378-b3e8-345b92674038

Nothing about it makes it any different than a formal Hunter class versus a “Prix”, they just seem to call it a “Grand Prix” as the origin of the name “Grand Prix” signifies the biggest class or top prize. Grand Prix literally means, in French, “great prize.” You do very rarely see this term used for hunters, but, nothing precludes a show from calling their most elite hunter class a Grand Prix.

This.

It’s also 3’3-3’6, so height wise its in between SRJTs National & International Derbies.
