thanks for the articles bluey.
my problem stems from gut microbe imbalance after chemo and a year long battle with h pylori.
it’s been 23 months since my stomach became affected, and i am so ready to feel better.
Hey Suz, If you were a horse I’d try the following:
A course of ulcer treatment for suspected ulcers
All natural, healthy food, no high fat or processed food
Eat LESS, Exercise more
Drop some weight
Daily meditation or Happiness Walks
Extra kisses on your furry nose
Sorry you’re feeling so lousy. Chemo and drugs can really mess up your total body. And it’s a vicious cycle. You’ve been through a lot in the past couple years and stress can take a toll on you. Time to focus on you and getting healthy. Any good holistic folks in your area?
Lol, that’s my thinking too marla–I need a vet!
I am still improving, my sinuses are SO much better I have to blow my nose once or twice a day, the stuffiness is 100% gone, and the headache is a dull roar these days.
My belly is so much softer, that taut and aching bloat is a mere whisper of what it was, so I am very pleased.
I do have an oncology consult coming up, which I need to get the brain mri and pt scan ordered, so I am anxious to get them out of the way and to move on from this.
Next stop may be a very long work/play/stay at a healing place where I can learn to harvest and prepare healing, nourishing and maybe raw foods.
I am researching that now, and if I can find the right place, I hope to make a real difference in the rest of my life and health by investing the time–maybe a year even!
Thought you might like an update.
I continue to feel better and better—my gut pain is no longer constant, and more like a 1-2 instead of the chronic 7-8 I was feeling.
Doctors are congratulating themselves at discovering I have sclerosing panniculitus, though the number one symptom is weight loss–and which is clearly the opposite of my issue!
I irritated the oncologist when I refused the handful of scripts she tried to give to me, I asked her to help me find a nutritional way to heal and she scoffed at me.
I wont be seeing her again, lol, though I was able to convince her that I needed a full pt scan asap.
Waiting for an appointment with a nutritionist next, and my naturopath has ordered more detailed tests of thyroid and hypothalmus and some other values I cant recall.
I do have chronic lyme, probably from 1974 and reinfections later.
Fun stuff this medical jourmey!
