When we switched horse trailers our old golf cart would not fit. We purchased a Yamaha 90 cc scooter. It is road licensed and can handle the weight of two grown adults with no problem. Plus a riding helmet fits perfectly inside the storage compartment. The bonus is that we want to scoot (pardon the pun) off the show grounds for a bite to eat somewhere we can…providing the drivers have the proper licence and the scooter is properly insured for road use its a win win solution.
Wow, I have been fascinated with this thread. I have not seen mopeds or dirt bikes at shows, but I can really see the appeal…as long as they are not too noisy. A 50cc moped looks quite affordable! The only down side I can see is that you couldn’t haul a bale of hay with it.
