What model Trilogy am I riding in?

Just a quick question.

I’m looking to upgrade from my Zaldi saddle to a Trilogy. I kindly got lent one at the start of the year at an exhibition ride. The person I borrowed it off has since sold it on and can’t remember the model.

So anyone with keen eyes?

Its the only picture I have. I only have video otherwise.

I can’t tell from the picture but I have a verago and I love it.

Honestly, at that angle, that could be any of Trilogy’s three popular dressage models. :frowning:

I know :frowning: it’s driving me a little bit insane. It was one of the best saddles I have ever ridden in and I simply can’t find or figure out the model!

Where are you located? We see the trilogy rep all the time around here. I am sure one could bring out all three models to try. Or take one on a trial!

Fwiw, I have ridden in all three models and I did not find them to be vastly different.

There should be a serial number on the saddle. Contact Trilogy with the number and I’m sure they can determine the model.

I love my Verago.

Agree with atlatl – get the serial number and call up Trilogy to ask what it is. They are very customer-service oriented. But just from a photo, it’s really hard to tell the three models apart. (I have a Debbie and like it, though it’s far from perfect… but dropping another $3-4K on a saddle isn’t happening right now.)

Saddle has since been sold, as stated in the original post, so I can’t get the serial number.

I live in Australia, so no Trilogy rep here unfortunetly.

and saddle may’ve been more or less customized as well …

Obviously the trick to getting the serial # is hiring that private detective (just like in the old movies)

You’ll just need to plan a trip to the US - likely more cost efficient than the PD idea … AND more fun!

Look at Cardanel saddles as they manufacture at least some of the Trilogies.

You could certainly email the image off to both companies, if you have a photo of just the saddle that would be better of course, but might as well give it a go

You mentioned that you have video. I doubt that we’ll be able to see much more in the video, but it can’t hurt to see that. Throw it on YouTube, maybe?

Get in touch with whoever bought the saddle, if you can, and either ask them the model, which might also be stamped on the inside flap, or ask them for the serial number.

Bumping up an old thread for a happy ending. After a very long time!

So I found a used Trilogy that was local to me and it was a very good price. The ad was old but I thought I’d message her anyway. The saddle was still available so I made a time to go pick it up.

I picked it up today and had a chat with the owner of it. I told her I’d been looking for a Trilogy forever since I got lent one. When I told her who’d lent me the saddle she started laughing and said this was her old saddle. She was the person who had brought it all those years ago.

Now I have that exact saddle. It’s an Amadeo Elite for anyone curious.

Funny! Congrats. I have an old Verago that I managed to score several years ago after it kept coming back from trials. It’s been a great saddle for me and a variety of horses. I’ll use it 'til the tree falls apart!

I LOVE my Amadeo Elite!!!

That story is so funny, and I’m so glad it worked out for you
