Thank you for the gift link! Wonderful, and all of us who have loved, have lost, and love again, will cry watching/reading it, because it rings so true to us. Death is part of life, and we know we usually outlive our pets, and it always hurts anew when they go, no matter how “grizzled and seasoned” we are.

Caring for my dog as he declined and ultimately died was one of the most profound experiences of my life. He knew. Walking through that experience with him was an act of service and love, and I can only hope I did it the justice he deserved.
