What stallion? Rosenthal/Rubenstein line

I have an 8yo 16’1 Gray Oldenburg Mare who I would like to breed. She is out of Rosenthal and her dam sire is Da Vinci x Dollberg. She’s registered GOV.

She was bred to be a dressage horse but has a really good jump with nice form over fences. She’s got a great brain and is very quiet under saddle. She has a wonderful neck and very refined head, but her canter is not the best and she needs a better hind end. She has a nice trot.

I have always liked the C-line Holsteiners and was thinking the new stallion in Canada, Connaisseur out of Con Amore x Donnerhall, but he’s really more of a dressage horse and I thought I could gain some real world advice from this forum.

If your end goal with this mare was to have more of a jumper, what would you pick to combine with the Rubenstein/Rosenthal line?

While Connaisseur is a dressage horse, he has a decent jump

The three things I wanted to improve on in breeding my mare were canter, hind end strength, and temperament. I bred her to Cunningham and the resulting foal has a phenomenal canter and temperament, and his hind end conformation was greatly improved. He’s only two now, so I don’t know how well he will jump, but he certainly has the bloodlines for it.

Why not Coeur d’Amour (C-line through Contender, going back to Calypso II), standing at High Point Hanoverians, also Rosenthal’s home?
High Point has bred its gray Rosenthal broodmare to him twice with very good results. See http://www.hphanoverians.com/sales.html
