What the Fruitbat is Wrong with NBCSports?

So I installed the app.

Now I keep getting messages saying NBCSports has stopped working.

What is that all about?

Awhile ago I tried to log in to authorize myself so I could watch live Olympics, and you would think I was trying to get at Hillary’s e-mails. I had to put in my name, phone number, birth date, blood type, mother’s maiden name and her shoe size, and now they want a password I haven’t used in years because – guess what? – my computer keeps me logged in to my cable site! But is that good enough for NBC?

I got that error once or twice since the games started. I just restarted my phone, opened NBCSports app, and worked fine for me. All I had to do was log in to my cable provider and no issues… just an email and a password. I don’t know why it is causing you such grief. That must be frustrating.

I have been watching this afternoon’s dressage, and it sort of ‘blew up’. Just quit working. it was thru my roku but I don’t know if that matters.

I have had no problems whatsoever, watching from my desktop and iPad, I think NBC is great! I had to log in the first time through my cable provider and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. The hardest part was installing the app which seemed to take forever.

My frustration with all this is that I’m NOT a cable subscriber, we just use the digital antenna and a Netflix/Hulu combination for our tv watching. So now I can’t watch any of the equestrian coverage AT ALL.

Just get a 7 day trail of SlingTv Blue. Most of the equestrian is on USA Network. It will be littered with commercials, but it’s better than nothing.

Don’t know if this has been done by those having trouble - NBC computer and on the phone, you have to sign in through your cable provider.

The NBC app is working a charm for me. Live stream and replays. LOVE. :yes:
