Recently I have been getting random black boxes popping up on my screen,
All over the screen, no verbage or image, just a black square.
They flash around for a bit, then disappear.
Only on this BB.
Adware?
Malware?
Anyone else having this issue? Any changes to software or browser? What platform and browser are you using to view the site?

Wonder if itâs a weird ad thatâs only getting partially blocked?

I google searched ârandom black boxes popping upâ and it appears to be an issue with HP
FWIW, many of the computer vendors like HP donât run out of the box Windows directly from Microsoft. They may make âtweaksâ to it to support specific hardware or bundled software features. Would not surprise me that something did or didnât work one way on one vendor vs another

BUT:
I am using a HP desktop & Chrome browser & did install the free Adblocker. but this Black Box only ever happens on COTH, no problem on other sites.
So far it is a minor & infrequent occurrence {shrugs} - seems like an incompletely-blocked ad to me too
