I’m definitely dating myself here, but I grew up with the rule that if you were wearing a white shirt, you wore a beige bra. This rule worked for me until very recently, when the last of my beige sports bras bit the dust and I learned that you can’t buy beige sports bras any more, you can only buy fuscia, chartreuse, purple, turquoise, and combinations of all of those. So what does everyone else do? I confess I don’t study what other people are wearing under their white shirts, so maybe the answer is as obvious as a fuscia sports bra would be under my nice short sleeved shirt if they call coats. Or, do I need to look someplace else besides Target?
Look someplace besides Target as there are tons of beige bras out there.
I might be missing something, but is there a reason you couldn’t or shouldn’t wear a white sports bra?
I just wear whatever shade of neon is at the top of the pile (and mine are pretty much all from Target ). I’m sure you can probably still find beige sports bras somewhere though.

The beige under white just “disappears” and all you see is the white shirt. White under white sort of amplifies the white and shows the silhouette of the bra just as if it were colored. (Not a problem, of course, if you never take your jacket off.)
Ah, good to know…I only ever wear white sports bras and just figured that was as good as it gets Of course, I probably haven’t shown in a white shirt in 15 years. Hello lavender, I love you.
Enell sports bras come in beige. They’re not going to be cheap, but they work amazingly well and their standard colors are beige, white, or black.
You can also do what I did at my last horse show - wear a thin cotton tank top over the bra and then put on the white shirt.
A sports bra in pale pink should work just as well as a beige one.
Yes, you need to shop someplace besides Target.
Champion makes beige bras; I was always complaining at their outlet that big girl bras were only in beige, black or white :disgust:. The last couple years they added some color, so you’re welcome.
I’ve never been able to find a beige sports bra either… apparently I also fell into the Target trap, I thought no one made them! I’ve been wearing white or light blue and not caring what people see. Most people I see are wearing white anyway!
I was at Kmart today & BraLand there had a ton of beige sportsbras in all types from Armor to Wisp.
If you’re like me & just need upholstery, not real support they even came in 3-packs for under $15.

I was told this little secret (about regular bras) from an amazing lingerie store owner. Light pink actually disappears even more then beige on many lighter skin tones.
Coincidentally, she’s in southern California too.
Thanks! I guess I’ll venture beyond Target and see what I can find. I’m glad to know I won’t end up with pictures featuring fuscia and chartreuse peeking out of a white show shirt!
PS be careful wearing a neon bra under a white shirt, especially if hot and sweaty… I’ve seen more than one shirt with a colorful stain on it!
I tend to wear a tight fitting camisole… helps hide those muffin tops LOL
Wacoal bras are pricey. Found at Macy’s and they’re worth every penny!

I found Hanes beige ones on amazon - 2 pack for $10! But I have no boobs so they’re more of the barely-there type than a sports-sports bra!
