What would be the most similar to a Joules Blanket?

Question…

I have a super hard to fit mare blanket-wise. Even though she doesn’t look super stocky, everything is either tight across her shoulders, or super tight across her withers. (even the schneiders asjusta-fit things)

Recently someone gave me an old used Joules turnout sheet, and it fits her perfectly! Like Cinderella’s slipper perfectly…

however, when I looked for a blanket version of the sheet, all I’m finding is old closeouts, none of which seem to be in her (super common) size…

What is the story behind the Joules blankets, and what would be the most similar to one do you think? Weatherbeeta seems to come up in conjunction with them when I google the brand, is one of their current blankets the prototype for the Joules cut?

I feel like I’ve tried most everything from the Rambos and the Amigos to the Schneiders and the Riders brands.

At the moment the only other blanket she has the fits reasonable well other than the Joules is the Saxon medium weight blanket, which seems to be one of a kind as well…

thanks!

Can you give us some links?

All I’m turning up is this:

Which just looks to be a weatherbeeta in a limited time print. I’d think other weatherbeetas in that same cut would fit just as well? Like this style?

This is the sheet.

So, yeah…it’s just a weatherbeeta in a fun fabric. Any weatherbeeta with that same cut–which looks to be their “original”–should fit like that.

It looks like they just changed their naming convention, but try the straight up Comfitec.

There are still original weatherbeetas out there for sale, too, particularly if she’s a big or little size. HorseLoverz looks to have a bunch, but they’re available all over (maybe with limited sizes elsewhere.)

You’re awesome!

Thank you!
