We would love to hear about (or see pictures of) any af Rasputin’s babies. We are seriously considering breeding him next season and this would help us compile a portfolio. We are in touch with the owners of Aaross farms in Canada and they have been quite helpful. They were glad to know where he is.
This is the one Rasputin baby I know about! Out of a Saddlebred mare! DROOL!!!

The young mare that was at my farm has just been sent off for training. I intend to go to see her when she is going under saddle so I will take some photos and post them for you, she is going to be for sale eventually. My neighbour has one of the last crop of his babies, she is a one year old filly, they love her to death. They like her so much that they will be keeping her and doing the Hunter circuit with her when she is ready. I will see if I can get some photos of her too. There is a dressage rider here in Ontario that is competing at CADORA shows with a 4yr old filly by him and doing very well. I will see if I can find the site with results and post that for you too.

I have not managed to get the photos of the other two horses I spoke of yet but here is a link to the young horse by Rasputin competing dressage. She is the third horse down on the page, I think she is around 5 yrs old. http://www.canadianwarmbloods.com/2007CPF-EastDressage.php
I have been trying so hard since Feb. this year to find information on this stallion! I bought a 2006 Filly by Rasputin. She is lovely! Amazing temperament, perfect personality, floaty movement and unbelievable scope! I am certainly interested in finding out more about Rasputin!
Rasputin
I suspect this stallion has been gelded. The OP stopped posting some time ago and I think they would have been much more interested in finding out about his kids if they had intended keeping him intact.
Too bad. His foals are starting to do really well in all types of shows and everyone seems to rave about their temperaments.
I just saw this thread.
I only met Rasputin a few times - his owner took him to the same farm/clinic as I took AFR, so I saw him there, briefly, but he was a lovely horse.
I would be sorry to hear that he was gelded.
Hi i would love to get in touch with the pep. that now own Rasputin
I now own his dam she is a great horse with great temp. she is in foal right now to cabardnio for an aug. 2011 foal
It is now 7 years after the last post on this thread, but I would like to give everyone interested an update!
Rasputin is alive and well (and intact) if we are all speaking of the black Swedish warmblood stallion. He now resides at Okamoto Riding Club in Japan and is still standing at stud. This year he turns 27!
Awesome!!!
Unfortunately I don’t think that is the same stallion they are referring to. The Rasputin in question is a Dutch Warmblood and bay not black.
Oh wow. fun to see his name pop up here. He was sold to a friend of mine a few years ago and gelded. He did a lot of dressage and trail riding until being put down about a year ago.
