I used to be a member years ago, and thought the Dressage Hub group on Facebook had tens of thousands of members. I’m sure I remember the owner saying it generated her millions of dollars a year in income, but now it’s down to six people and the owner is liking her own posts?

Probably how its been all along, really, with most members no longer participating. Pretty soon one will see pretend accounts signing up to talk to each other, no doubt.

Maybe. Or it got shut down. Or something else. I tend to disbelieve “I was hacked”. More likely she was sued and she lost.

I think she is Canadian, right? Could her sorry little garbage page be considered a news outlet? If so, it was nothing as glamorous that got her removed, it was that her page was considered news. Maybe.
FB has removed everything for us from local radio and newspapers to the big tv stations and national newspapers. And, no, none of us are happy about. The “big news” is not happy because they didn’t get what they want. Little news is unhappy at being dragged down with. Gov not happy because they miscalculated and didn’t get big news what they wanted (payment from FB) with their stupid bill. And us peons are all, “Winter is coming. We need the comment sections on our local news pages to get us the most UTD info on our local roads.”

I wonder if the hackers have control of it (she was the one that said it was hacked) and she’s just started up another one from scratch? Otherwise I’m sure she’d have said something on the original page. She’s actually “liked” comments on the “new” page.

Her old page appears fine except her engagement is terrible. The only post with more than one comment is a repost about tape for a packed hoof. The rest of her nonsense is getting zero engagement.

The only time the page ever got any real kind of interaction was when she was championing Nick Peronace and his riding and training career (and that was years ago), he even went as far as to name check her in his book.
