What's in Your Barn First Aid Kit?

First, is there a first aid kit in/at your barn?
Accessible to all?
Does it serve both people and horses?

If so, what’s in it?
If not, what would you like in it?

There’s none at my barn and I want to put one together.

Thanks.

I have only a personal one for myself, so it’s to service me for the most part as I get injured more than he does! It’s one of those kits you can buy from band-aid plus a few extras:

Bandaids, gauze pads, cleaning towlettes, antibiotic cream, tweezers, bee sting stuff (I’ve been stung once already this year!), emergency contact information, Betadine solution, vet wrap, mini towel, 2 fleece polos (they moved to the first aid kit once I bought boots)…

I know our barn itself has a horse first aid kit but I haven’t looked into it yet other than a cursory glance (and hopefully will never need to!)

everyone has their own stuff as the BO certainly wouldn’t buy one and who would replace the items used? I’m at a partial board place, nothing fancy.

I kep a certain amount of stuff in my trunk, have more in my trailer, and some at home as well.

witch hazel (for bug bites), silver spray, scissors, Denise’s All heal Salve (best stuff for all kinds of wounds), salt water in a spray bottle 9mix 1 tablespoon of salt in water, enough to fill a spray bottle) - best stuff for cleaning wounds, linament, saline for eye wash, Swat, disposable gloves, betadine, vet wrap, cotton, sanitary pads (make great compresses), antibiotic cream, liquid antibacterial soap, leg wraps, bute, banimine, stethoscope, digital thermometer. more stuff but hard to remember at the moment

Mine is primarily for the horses (although the dog, cats, chickens and humans have all “borrowed” from it from time to time). It contains:

Vet wrap
gauze pads of various sizes
scissors
syringes
alcohol
bute
polysporin
swat
dsmo
Wonderdust (this stuff is awesome, you should really get this!)
Betadine
vaseline
thermometer
Animalintex
poultice
various liniments that I never use
Blukote spray (sp??) this is also good stuff. Highly recommend.
Latex gloves
saran wrap
epsom salts
Duct tape (LOTS)
masking tape
thrush stuff
leg wraps (“no bows”, other cottons, stall bandages & stable bandages)

Would like to add:
diapers or sanitary pads
banamine (or whatever they call it now)
needles
stethoscope

It seems each time I’m dealing with a new injury, I need a new product. Then it gets used once and the 7/8 full bottle added to the collection!
I keep most of this stuff in the barn, except anything that will freeze, which gets carted back & forth from the house spring & fall.

I don’t keep a dedicated human first aid kit in the barn. I have bandaids in my house somewhere. I think the “people” polysporin found it’s way to the barn. I should probably replace that.

Thanks for the lists!

We have three kits, barn has one and horse trailer has horse and human kits

Lists look similar to those posted except we have distill water to use to flush a wound rather than Hydrogen peroxide which we have been told to not use if a wound was to be sutured.

Added a items to trailer are light sticks, bolt cutters, suture staple gun (which surprisingly comes in handy when you are out in the wilderness and horse decides to bump head against top of trailer

Wow … okay, this is getting expensive

I have had so much stuff age out that I quit replacing it.
