I’ve heard great things about Professional’s Choice girths, and have seen these used in the show ring: https://www.smartpakequine.com/pt/professionals-choice-smx-english-girth-5107.
And I really love the look of this girth: http://profchoice.com/i-20504222-ventech-leather-english-girth.html
It really depends on what your budget is.
I like a nice leather girth, mine is a Voltaire. I wasn’t a fan of the professionals choice stretchy one - but a lot of people love them.
I have a couple of Bevels and a couple of Edgewoods. Both are very nice and have held up well.

Has anyone seen/used one of these? Are they really an improvement?

This is my show girth. It’s a Bobby’s–it looks sharp and is easy on the budget:

Question on this - I’ve been looking into getting a new show girth but I always get iffy on picking a color. Do you know if the light brown Bobby’s girth leans more towards red or is more brown?
I ordered the Havana in the girth. It’s dark brown.
I did order “light brown” in a Bobby’s bridle once (maybe 7-8 years ago?). It was pretty, I thought–not quite as light as the old “Newmarket” but close. It looked smashing on the chestnut I got it for, and we always got compliments. It oiled up well and darkened quite a bit over the years. It was never reddish.
The customer service people at Tackzone are helpful and will answer any questions you have about color.
I am a convert from leather and sheepskin girths and now use the professional choice girth and my favorite…the SmartPak Air+ Neoprene Girth. I do take the labels off with a seam ripper to make them look more sleek
I loved my Soft Touch girth, but my fat horse is now too fat for it.

Thanks! I’ll have to give them a call. I used to not care too much about matchy-matchy tack but now I’m back on that train.

I will admit, I was a skeptic, but the company sent us demos to try for a horse with big shoulders and now I stock them. . . They are great at keeping the saddle in place. I have a demo girth, if you’d like to try one, as I see you are in the Midwest, so you’re probably not far from us!
In answer to the general question. . .I can’t keep the Lettia Memory Foam CLIK girths on the shelves for the A circuit hunters. They look similar to the Professional Choice girths but have the CLIK feature on both ends, and are lined with memory foam for comfort. They do not appear to slip and are machine washable.
For the jumpers the Total Saddle Fit, and Stud guard girths go first as well as the custom girths to match their saddles.
Love, love, love the Lettia Clik girths!

Thanks Indy! So do you think they are an advantage for a large pony or a horse with ‘normal’ shoulders? Or is it really more geared to the TB types?

I love my county logic and my fleece Edgewood girth. Each were about $75 used.
