What’s with all the old World Cup and Olympic threads in here. I saw the Phillip Dutton thread and though, “no way, not AGAIN” and then realized the thread was from 2008?

It’s confusing to read the titles, get interested, and then see how old they are.
Hopefully it will be sorted out asap.

Perhaps the old threads should be locked to make it a little less confusing. While they are worth keeping since some may want to go back and refer to them, I doubt there’s much to add to them at this point.
We closed the old threads that were still on the first page to avoid further confusion–thanks!
