Wheels on a kuhnle

I have read with dismay about the difficulties of replacing the rubber on standard wheels (not inflatable) for many European made carriages.

I drive on gravel roads and have noticed that my nice wheels are starting to look a little chewed up.

Would it be possible to keep my good wheels in a shed and use something like these for training? I have no idea whether the hubs are compatible with these wheels and would appreciate any advice.

I was told no with my older kuhnle because the hubs are attached to the disc brakes… They are a bit limited to strictly Kuhnle wheels. NOW, i dont know if you can go to Kuhnle and get pneumatics from them? I had asked a couple people around here (well known drivers used to many vehicles for many years) and they said i couldnt put pneumatics on mine because the way the darn wheels have the disc attached. I never explored it further. I’ve sold the carriage. Felt it was too heavy for my mare after her injury.
