My dear hubby rides western…this is very cool!
My question is, “Why did it open?” :lol:
Just doesn’t fit the old COTH magazine that never covered western riding. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, just that it doesn’t seem to fit with the original COTH mag and their audience.

I agree, it doesn’t seem to fit, except that many questions were about western ways, western riding, as so many posters ride more than only in the disciplines COTH the magazine represent.
Since they also seem to be many riding saddle seat, it begs the question, will we also have such a forum?
As long as it is about horses and the horse life, I guess that a chance to cross pollinate is ok.

I used to think they never covered western either. And then I was given a Christmas edition of The Chronicle circa 1964.

Maybe if this forum is successful COTH will ad an occassional Western article or section to it’s magazine.
