C’mon y’all, help me out - dragging right now, still need to ride - coyotes were near our property last night and JRT and Aussie were in and out barking in the wee hours (went to bed after karen’s XC ride and got up at 3:15 am!!! - 3rd graders are somewhat scary in that scenario - :eek: :yes: :lol: ). I can’t get the times to watch tonight or tomorrow… :winkgrin:
I believe the live feed starts tomorrow at 7am. Or maybe 7:15?

Yes, I will be losing my job right around 8:30 when my boss gets in because I will try my hardest to watch the live feed even though I should be working :winkgrin:
That really is terrible timing for all of us who have to work - even if it’s farm work as that’s prime pre-big bad bug hour! But alas, I got to watch all of cross country so I won’t complain…much:D

They are 12 hrs ahead of us. So - if it’s 8:00pm on the 11th EST its 8:00am on the 12th in HK.
Honestly, I’ve found it easier to keep 4 boookmarks rather than navigate the NBC site each time!

click the day you are interested in, and then scroll down and click on “equestrian”. That section tells you what is live-feeding now. Clicking on equestrian icon tells you about video feed scheduled anytime in the day.
I think the little blurb got the time wrong. I think they meant 7:15 am, not PM.
PS. You can configure the page to match your time zone and schedule phone and email alerts for yourself. Despite the clunkiness of the navigation, they did a fantastic job with this site.

OK, so dumb question…in the Olympics is the 3-day not really three days? It looks like more than 24 hours between cross country and stadium (36 hours +/-?). And some of the dressage went on Saturday. Is that common?
Does anyone know if they are going to post information about when the jog is (and who makes it through)?

It will still be over three days (Dressage is often over several days as you have to use the same judges) but you’re right it will be well over a day later - the last XC ride was approximately 11 am Monday in Hong Kong (11 PM EST Sunday - think half a day earlier) and the stadium doesn’t start until 7.15 pm Tuesday so 7.15 am for anyone on the East Coast. This gives a break of around 36 hours for, say, a “late” XC rider who’s towards the top of the Leader Board like some of the Germans or Mary King. Given the hot, humid conditions that’s probably not an excessive gap and everyone gets about the same recovery time to the jog anyway.
It’s 3 days - just confusing because they are 12 hrs ahead of us. They did cross country Monday AM their time. They are doing Stadim Tuesday PM their time.
They are getting a really long time off since the cross country was done before noon on Monday and the horses don’t have to go until the following evening but it’s still technically 3 days
