I used to own a pair of split reins I really liked. They were thick and heavy and made out of some fancy material which wasnt leather but felt like it and you could rinse them off. I was just looking at split reins at the stores where I am and none of them felt heavy/draped nicely. Where do you order your split reins online? Most likely leather? Im looking for heavy drapey western split reins so I can ask for them for christmas.

Taylored Tack has nice Western reins made from biothane that you can throw into a bucket of water and clean that way. Her products are very well made and she has excellent customer service.
I custom order from her because I like an 8’ rein with water loop ends. Love, love, love her tack!

I have like 50 sets of split reins, and Cowperson Tack reins are my fave, even over bigger name brands.
