In the past I’ve ordered all my studs through bit of Britain and they’ve had a ton of options. Now it looks like they’ve downsized to half of what they used to carry?? They dont have the sizes that I’m looking for anymore so where else does one find a good selection of studs?? I’m looking for more than just the basic small squares, hexagonals, grass tips, bullets. TIA!
Check out Nunn Finer’s website. John Nunn sold BoB so he may have taken his studding choices with him to Nunn Finer.
I recently bought a bunch at VTO saddlery from their mobile tack store at Plantation. I’d check their website online, and if they don’t have any maybe email them and ask. They didn’t have a HUGE selection but a strong enough stock to restock a bunch of more commons one that I’ve lost recently.
The personals section in the back of the local paper.
My store stocks its studs from Nunn Finer and English Riding Supply. Unfortunately, NF seems to be suffering from backorder issues. We’ve seen it in other metal goods as well, including bits from several vendors. I wonder if we’re seeing tariff issues at play. Availability on random things has been spotty, and prices on them are skyrocketing at the same time.
