Does any one know of a place where I can adopt a nurse mare foal in Arizona? I have looked on the internet, and I can only find places on the east coast… any help would be amazing!
You might start frequenting the auction. I’m in Phoenix, and last time I went, it was to the one by the casino, and I saw a pitiful little guy who only needed some help with hoof position. He could have been fixed easily, but apparently his owners didn’t want to take the time. He went for $25.
If you are thinking premarin foals, I’m not aware of any of those operations that are local.
Unlikely to be one in AZ as it’s a side effect of large breeding clusters (usually TB). There may be some in CA?
