I’ve been told that Trilogy was going to add a used saddle list to their website - but have been waiting over a year. Still hasn’t happened. So, does anyone know of a good consignment shop to sell a used Trilogy? Thanks!
A friend and I both bought our Trilogy’s off a Facebook page. I would go ahead and list it there. It was just a Dressage Saddles/Tack For Sale / Wanted type of page.
Hmm, I previously used the “used saddle” portion of their website years ago, but I see that it’s gone now.
Another option is to consign it with a Trilogy rep.
I consigned a Trilogy Amadeo Elite to Pelham Saddlery in March. It sold in October for full asking price.

I’ve had great luck consigning saddles with Patricia at Fine Used Saddles.
At the time I consigned mine to Pelham, Fine Used Saddles had a moratorium on consignments. They would have been my first choice. So now I see that they’re taking in a limited number of new consignments…good deal!

A friend just sold hers. She told her Trilogy rep what she had and less than 2 weeks later had sold it to somebody in VA.
I vote Pelham as second choice to rep.

Pretty much the exact same thing here! And the saddle I had before the Trilogy sold from there in October, too (to be fair, I’d taken it out of consignment several times when the Trilogy was clearly not working out.)
I bought the Trilogy new and used it for just over a year before it became very obvious that it wasn’t working. Nice saddle, just not quite right for me or my horse.
If you like your Trilogy rep, though, I’d start there. They will have a much better read on people who really want a Trilogy specifically, but are hesitating about buying new.
I did tell the closest rep, she was the one who told me that the company was going to reintroduce their used listing on the website. Didn’t happen. She said she would keep my saddle in mind, but nothing has come of it and it was in April! I wish there was a way to let reps know, but apparently not. I am happy to pay a commission just need to figure out where best to place it.
I would honestly place it on the Facebook groups. What size seat and tree? What model? My saddle fitter use to be a Trilogy rep, and is the one who told us about the saddles. Love them. Next time I see her I will pass the info of your saddle on in case she happens to have a client looking for one. The ones I have seen on Facebook normally sell pretty quickly from what I can tell.
