Where to find a custom leather belt for my own buckle?
Nocona is nice. SO has several, and the one he wears the most I love and am constantly hiding it from him. It doesn’t work, but I try…
I also have a Nocona…cool belt buckle came with it and it comes off and I use mine so it’s 2 for the price of one

I’m sure COTH favorite Gary Mundy would make you a custom belt. You could even get your initials stamped in or one of the other stamps that he has.

Paco Collars does belt work I believe. The best bet is to email and see what tooling etc they can do and what price range they can give you. They may be a little pricey but they know their stuff! I’ve met the owner twice now through leash making classes and she’s very creative and talented.
There may be some examples of their tool work online, even though most of their collars for dogs have metal working.

Good idea to have a leather belt for my buckle. When you have a buckle of your own choice and want a leather belt for it, it is always advisable to enjoy the best quality leather as you looks to be fond of fine and high quality products. If you want exceptionally high and fine quality leather custom-made belts, it is a better idea to visit Resurgence Gear to have the best quality and still the of latest fashion belts. Resurgence Gear have the retail shops in all corners of the World and offer the leather products of international standards with return warranty and within your limited budget.

Check out Sam Stuart on Facebook. He is out west, and his prices are pretty good. He makes custom leather belts, bags, rodeo chaps, etc and does the most amazing hand tooling I’ve ever seen, and can even do inlays and colorful pieces.

In my opinion, he is better at western type stuff than Chuck Pinell and you don’t pay extra for the hype of the brand name.

If you have have trouble finding him, message me and I’ll give you the info.

Check out www.cleverwithleather.com as well - they make great belts and could possibly do something for you!

I had our local tack repair guy make me one. Do you have someone in your area that repairs tack? I would think making a belt would be rather simple.

I have a few belts from this site: http://gavereleather.net/ They are cheap and have a lot of patterns and customization. The leather is not the greatest quality I’ve ever seen, but it’s good enough for me for a belt.

Is there a Renaissance festival near you? You can find tons of leathersmiths at those.

This is a zombie post resurrected by a spambot.

Check with Amanda Brandenburg, “Wild Dog Designs” on Facebook, picture of a black dog. She does amazing custom dog collars but also can do western tack and I’d bet she could easily do a custom belt. Her prices are very reasonable and her work is high quality and she’s super easy to work with.

Also check out Claire Painter, Clever With Leather. I don’t know if she has a website or not but she also does custom leather work, usually more of an English style, but enjoys doing pieces with a bit of flair and also typically reasonably priced and high quality.

And it happens again
