Where to find draft size leather halter bridle?

I seem to only find nylon halter bridles for the drafts but I prefer nice looking leather. Any suggestions?

I’m not 100 percent sure what you mean by halter bridle… but if you are looking for an English bridle and depending on how drafty your horse is, I got the Harwich (https://www.smartpakequine.com/harwich-padded-fancy-stitch-bridle-by-smartpak-7215p) and it fits my draft cross very well. I got it in the oversize. My guy is not full draft, but he has a pretty big head and there’s room for this to go larger. (Not much more room on nose band or throat latch though) So not sure if this will help, but just in case your looking, i would totally recommend this. Awesome bridle. I also have the dressage one by them, although I haven’t gotten a chance to try it on him yet.

Edit: Is this a halter bridle? lol, it comes in oversize! http://www.amazon.com/LEATHER-Halter-Bridle-Combination-Trail/dp/B002HVM8ZA

You could also check out drafttack.com if you want!

Quillen’s would probably make a very nice one for you.

Thanks for all those links eventingdreaming!

AKB, I’ll call Quillens tomorrow and see if the do halter bridles. On their site I only find halters, no bridles but you never know. Thank you for the suggestion.

As someone else mentioned, I’m sure Quillin would make one to specification for you, and the quality would be unbeatable. Send them a picture of what you’re looking for, and I’m sure they’ll be happy to email you a quote.

I’ve used DraftTack.com before to order stuff for my Clyde/TB cross who takes a 7" bit and they’re pretty good. I also really like Two Horse Tack because while they do beta biothane, they also do quality leather stuff and have some great options and styles. Personally I am drooling over the medieval ones, but I show hunters and eventing and dressage so idk how that would fit in the show ring LOL. Either way, all of their stuff is really well made and the owner Natasha is super helpful. You can find out more here: Two Horse Tack Western Leather Draft Bridle or English Leather Draft Bridle. You can order draft or WB size, there’s a ton of options, or you can place a custom size order and they will make it to your specifications  They also have matching breastcollars and so on. I am actually about to order a

Grr sorry! Too quick on the draw there. First, I just realized you asked specifically for HALTER bridles - here’s the correct options LOL

Draft Leather Halter Bridle - traditional bit hangers
Draft Leather Halter Bridle - quick change options

And…I was saying I’m about to order their day-glo bridle for my OT Arab that I trail ride with because we also sometimes ride at night and I need something new for him. I think I’m going to get the matching breastcollar too. Good luck!
