I have an older Kineton noseband my trainer gave me years ago (and he probably got ages ago) and it’s pretty worn out and past show quality. I ordered one made by Nunn Finer and it’s too small for my gelding! He is a KWPN with an average warmblood size head, not huge. Does anyone have any idea where I could find another one, probably warmblood size? The Nunn Finer only comes in the one horse size as far as I can tell. There is one made by ovation I found online, but it’s sold out on every site I find it on. Feeling stuck, as this is the one thing he goes like a dream in with a snaffle! Would be open to finding a used one as well.
Do you have a local tack repair place that could put new straps on the old Kineton hardware?
I have one in my tack box I can measure it for you tomorrow.
Nunn finer makes them. Any tack shop that sells their products should have it or be able to order it in.

The NF one comes in only one size but if you call or email with the measurements they can probably have a custom one made. Or you can contact Bartville Harness who makes a lot of their stuff, yourself if you’re in the SE PA, or contact them by phone message or letter-- it’s Amish run so a bit complicated.
Google racing tack stores - they all carry them.
You can have mine. It’s from 2007 and I haven’t used it since 2008. Lol.
I’ll send you a PM.
I had the opposite issue with my NF Kineton, and just got a shorter strap made for across the nose. I would assume you could do the same for yours, and if the crown is also short, either just add a bit of strap (similar to a girth extender; a spur strap would likely work), or keep the hardware and have a custom-size one made up with it.
Hi! I come across them about once every two months, or so, on eBay. I have a Nunn Finer search saved, so those are always the first listings, but I also frequently see NF Kinetons that have no branding in the listing, or other brands, that seem well made. I see Cob and Full sizes, about equally. Good luck!
